The first part of the “We Shape the Future” project, developed by Baltas Group in cooperation with Istanbul Provincial Social Services Directorate and Karaköy Rotary Club, has been completed.
Many topics from hygiene to communication were discussed in the trainings prepared by Baltas Group. A total of 348 foster mothers from 10 kindergartens affiliated with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate participated in the “We Shape the Future” training project.
At the opening of the educational project carried out in parallel at the Sheikh Zayed Nursery and Metin Sabanci Rehabilitation Center, Istanbul Provincial Social Services Deputy Director Nesim Tanğlay, Karaköy Rotary President Necdet Evren and Baltas Group President Prof. Dr. Acar Baltas took part with short speeches. The training programs carried out by Baltas Training Program Managers Selin Selamet and Meral Alguadiş were met with great interest by caregiver mothers.
With the project, which was carried out to ensure that the people who provide caregiving services adapt to changing conditions and to increase both the quality of the service they provide and their professional skills, caregiver mothers had the opportunity to get information on the issues they need.
Caregivers, who experience the responsibility and pride of shaping the future as well as the difficulty of the service they provide, stated that they not only received training through this training project, but also that they were cared for and that they wanted to increase such training.
