He holds the key to the future; Person

This year, a conference was organized by the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID) at UCL, London, between 25-28 July. Prof. Dr. We had the opportunity to follow the work closely with the participation of Zuhal Baltas. The association in question was established in 1983; It aims to encourage the study of individual differences in mood, mental skills, attitudes and abilities. Researchers attended the conference with their studies on individual differences in different fields such as experimental, physiological, pharmacological, medical, genetic, socio-psychological, etc. 400 academicians from 35 countries attended the conference, where relevant issues were discussed and information and opinions were exchanged.
The most interesting aspect of the subject of individual differences for us was the factors that play a role in business success and career. Who are those who produce new models in today’s economies, who are within known business models but create trends with different service and product categories? Behavioral scientists have examined individuals and conditions in detail to answer these questions. They are looking for an answer to the question of what will be the critical success factor of the business world. What are the characteristics of innovative individuals? What is the definition of entrepreneurship? Do these individuals exist in organizations and can they be made intrapreneurs? These questions that Baltas researched for the business world had some clues.
In the world of psychologists, whose most important area of interest is the future of society, the issue is generally discussed in 5 dimensions; mental skills, personality, desire-motivation, genetics and environment. There are some outputs, but for stronger data, it is necessary to work on new measurement tools and models that will answer the question of who is an “entrepreneur”.
