Gathered to Be “Green Collar” on the Path of Sustainable Living

This time, Baltas Group Psychology and Business World Tuesday Meeting gathered its friends together to build bridges on the path to sustainable living. At the meeting held at Baltas Bilgievi on November 24, 2015, the participants discussed how to strengthen their ties with nature with the “Green Collar” Program, a joint effort of Tema Foundation and Baltas Group.
Nature is the basis of life on earth and the common home of all living things. However, our weakening ties with nature and the socio-economic models we have established show that we are far from seeing this reality. In the last 50 years alone, our unsustainable life choices have irreversibly destroyed two-thirds of nature.
Today, we are at a crossroads for the continuity of natural life, economic and cultural riches. Before it’s too late; We need people who know nature, are aware of being a part of nature, are aware of the effects of their daily life choices on nature, and have a nature-friendly identity.
For this reason, Tema Foundation and Baltas Group cooperated and developed the “Green Collar” program, which will enable concrete steps to be taken for what can be done by rebuilding the bridge between humans and nature, and invites everyone to build bridges on the path to sustainable living.
