VI. organized by Turkish Intelligence Foundation in cooperation with METU Faculty of Education. Intelligence and Talent Congress was held on September 29.
At the congress, which hosted Turkey’s academics working in areas related to Intelligence and Talent, educators who make a difference in schools, students and families, Prof. Dr. Acar Baltas spoke about “The Role of Intelligence in Life Success”.
Sharing that there is no distinction between “mind” and “intelligence” in the discipline of psychology, contrary to popular belief, Baltas explains the reflection of intelligence on life; He explained it as analytical intelligence, creative intelligence, practical intelligence and wisdom intelligence. These types of intelligence are also described in II. He explained it with examples from the World War: Analytical intelligence, “What are the causes of World War II?”; practical intelligence, “What are the reflections of this war on today?”; creative intelligence, “What would have happened if Germany had won?”; wisdom intelligence, “These developments lead to the understanding of genocide.” It seeks answers to the questions “How does it affect us?”
