Prof. Dr.Baltas brought together teachers and parents in the conversation titled “Raising Children Who Reflect Their Potential in Life” held at SANKO Schools Abdulkadir Konukoğlu Cultural Center Conference Hall.
Explaining that parents and teachers should establish emotional bonds with children and show that the issues they care about are important, Prof. Dr. Baltas noted that the competencies of the 21st century are collaboration, relationship management, critical thinking and productivity.
Life success; Prof. emphasized that success depends on aptitude (skill), success management (passion) and getting along with people (social skill set). Dr. Baltas pointed out that children must be taught the characteristics of resilience, resilience and self-sufficiency.
Emphasizing that children should be raised who are partners in the life of the family, not in its welfare, Prof. Dr. Baltas said, “Children should be given responsibility at home and children should be employed starting from the age of 14. ‘Life skills are acquired in life’. It is of great importance to appreciate children’s efforts and struggles. Children should be encouraged to push their limits. “Ore turns into jewelery only under pressure,” he said.
Prof. Dr. Baltas added that the responsibilities of parents are as great as the responsibilities of the school.
