NEW HR THAT ADDS VALUE TO PEOPLE AND BUSINESS

Baltaş, who is a close witness of the journey from chief of staff to HR director, wrote the book New HR Adding Value to People and Business, thinking that there is a need for a radical change in the way human resources view business life, and is a guide on human resources.

 

Prof. Dr. In his evaluation, Acar Baltaş states that the stormy process and rapid change that today’s business world is going through, with the transition from the industrial period where the added value of labor is dominant to a period where the added value of processing information makes a difference, forces HR employees and managers to an unfamiliar struggle. After all these developments, he states that HR must go beyond being a support department that serves the internal customer and perfects the HR processes of the institution, understands the competition the institution is in, produces solutions suitable for the customer’s perspective, and achieves all this within the logic of business.

 

The New HR book, Adding Value to People and Business, which will bring a different perspective to the sector, aims to move HR from a passive role such as adapting to the changing world to a contemporary and active role such as triggering change and “realizing the transformation”.
