Public health studies are defined as academic studies and practice studies carried out at the society, organization, community and individual levels for the purposes of preventing diseases, prolonging life and improving health.
“Public Health Textbook” was written in the fortieth year of Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, with the original approaches of faculty members from different disciplines, in order to convey the contemporary public health mission to the physicians of the future.
