HR Magazine took the following notes in its June issue regarding the participation of Baltas Group in the Educators Summit held on 4-5 May 2011:
One of the Founders of Baltas Group, Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltas, Baltas Group Business Development and Project Coordinator Dr. Zeynep Başar and Coproline Founding Partner Başar Baltas were the names who shared the presentation titled “Leave mistakes on the table: Simulation in education” at the summit.
The speakers stated that simulation creates a risk-free, fun environment suitable for assimilating information. On the other hand, they underlined that the problem frequently encountered in purely classical learning methods is that the trainings think that they are teaching something, but the learner is not even aware of what he has learned. Pointing out that the most efficient environment for learning for the brain that thinks what it thinks is simulation training, where the person can produce his own knowledge and experience the processes by living. Dr. Zuhal Baltas emphasized that simulations prevent employees from carrying these mistakes into their business lives by seeing the consequences of their wrong decisions, thus ensuring that mistakes remain on the table. Pointing out that these applications make it easier to assimilate what is learned and carry it to real life through exciting, surprising and challenging emotional experiences, Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltas continued his words as follows: “Baltas Group offers different simulation opportunities to the institutions it is a business partner on, as Celemi’s Turkey Representative, on issues such as a holistic view of business life, corporate change, project management, sales and marketing, finance, innovation, etc.”
