In cooperation with Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone Directorate and Turkish Quality Association (KALDER), Prof. Dr. Acar Baltas was brought together with the participants and Baltas’s seminar titled “Managing in Turkish Culture” was held on June 11, 2013 at the Çerkezköy OSB Directorate Conference Hall.
In the speech, which gave clues about how the Turkish business world is affected by its own cultural values and how a leader who takes these values into consideration can be successful both in the country and in the world; It has been stated that trying to unquestioningly apply management theories and techniques imported from the West in a different culture brings more harm than good and negatively affects the corporate climate and therefore business results. In addition, seeing the limits of the potential that people can reach with their personality traits helps them truly guide them; It has been shared that it enables leadership, coaching and mentoring.
