At the meeting held by Baltas Group in cooperation with BUSİAD within the framework of social responsibility in Bursa on April 27, 2010, Prof. Dr. A panel titled “Getting Ahead in the Competition” was held under the chairmanship of Zuhal Baltas. In the panel, Yasemin Başar, Lami Yağcılarlıoğlu, Erdoğan Güneş and Neşet Topaloğlu talked about human resources strategies.
During the panel, Bosch Human Resources Director Lami Yağcılarlıoğlu also explained that they emerged unscathed from the global crisis due to the importance they attach to human resources, and that their success stems from their successful human resources strategies as well as being an institution committed to their values.
The second speaker of the panel, Yeşim Tekstil Human Resources and Industrial Relations Director Yasemin Başar, emphasized that employing people suitable for the right job plays a major role in developing human resources and the importance of managing the personality by understanding and customizing it while determining management strategies.
Oyak Renault Training Institute Director Erdoğan Güneş stated that they intensified their efforts to make every manager a leader, based on the idea that successful managers will create successful institutions.
As the last speaker, Neşet Topaloğlu, Human Resources Manager of Şişecam Glass Packaging Group, gave detailed information about how they manage cultural differences in their international factories, which are growing in number every year.
All speakers stated that the services they received from Baltas Group during their human resources management were a part of their success.
The panel ended with BUSİAD President Mehmet Arif Özer giving a plaque to the speakers and the panel chairman.
