Within the scope of the 10th anniversary activities of the opening of our Ministry of Justice Training Center, 2014 was declared as the Year of Values. For this reason, for the students who are participating in the pre-service training program of the Training Center, Prof. Dr. A seminar program titled “Living and Managing with Values” was organized by Acar Baltas. Prof. Silivri and Maltepe penal institutions directors and expert staff attended the seminar program as guests. Dr. Baltas; He stated that the phenomenon of values is a determining factor in our personal and social lives because it prioritizes people’s behavior and beliefs. Pointing out that whether the values are truly adopted or not can be understood concretely in extraordinary situations such as crisis, Prof. Dr. Baltas emphasized that “none of us can be considered innocent of a sin that we have not been tested for.” Prof. pointed out that when people apply the values they have adopted in their lives, truth and beauty will emerge, and courage will be found to eliminate mistakes and mistakes. Dr. Acar Baltas; Referring to the current distortion between today’s presented values and universal values, he stated that a person’s true values can be understood not by what they say but by the behaviors they exhibit.
