Prof. Dr. Acar Baltas met with ITU GVO parents at the seminar titled “Road to Academic Success and Exam Motivation”.
Prof. Dr. Acar Baltas, in the seminar held with intense participation, said the following about families giving children responsibility and their relations with the school:
• To give your child the skills to cope with life, all you have to do is let go of their hands.
• Let him learn that there is failure, pain, sadness, difficulty, disappointment in a life.
• Don’t make life too easy for your children. Work that seems like a chore at home teaches responsibility, self-sufficiency, humility and work ethic. These pave the way to success in life.
• Potential emerges under pressure. Children who do not take on any responsibilities other than studying and who grow up without struggling with any difficulties become inadequate and unhappy when they encounter life’s difficulties in their adult lives.
