At the “Employee Engagement Summit” held by HR Magazine on April 26, 2012, Baltas Group held a panel titled “Employee with a Sense of Meaning” with the participants. Prof. Dr. Esra Kurtuluş Yıldırım and Özgehan Özlem Koçak, Baltas Group Customer Relations Officers, and İsa Turan, Kuveyt Türk Education Manager, attended the panel chaired by Zuhal Baltas.
Opening the panel, Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltas, individuals’ “Who am I?”, “Why do I exist?” He emphasized that they questioned their reasons for existence and purpose of life with their questions. Zuhal Baltas, who shared that Baltas Group handles the sense of meaning that ensures employee loyalty in four dimensions as culture, leader, employee and systems, gave the floor first to Esra Kurtuluş Yıldırım and then to Özgehan Özlem Koçak to explain the Baltas Group practices on the subject. He then invited İsa Turan, Training Manager of Baltas Group business partner Kuveyt Türk, to the stage to share the impact of the project they carried out with Baltas Group on employee loyalty.
Stating that employees who can establish a connection between their own values ​​and corporate values ​​are dedicated employees and will turn their potential into performance in the most efficient way, Kurtuluş stated that for this, appropriate corporate climate measurement and development is required with KDA (Cultural Transformation Tool). Özgehan Özlem Koçak gave examples of how a corporate culture that creates employee loyalty can be established with leaders who create a sense of meaning and employees who experience a sense of meaning.
