Strategic Human Resources Indicators in Blue Collar Management

Yasemin Başar from Baltas Group attended the Blue Collar HR Management Summit, hosted by HR Magazine at the Conrad Hotel on March 9, 2012, as a speaker.
In her speech, Yasemin Başar touched upon the view of the corporate scorecard and the alignment of the targets within this scope, as well as the strategic human resources indicators for blue-collar employees, and said that the knowledge, skills and competencies of the employees of the institution have a direct effect on the measurable business results of the institution, the “corporate scorecard”, and the way to establish a healthy association is between the goals and the corporate targets. He stated that it is possible by gradually reducing the amount to all employees. Başar drew attention to the importance of this issue, especially in sectors where a significant part of the workforce consists of blue-collar workers. Touching on the importance of measuring candidates’ approaches to security in blue-collar recruitment, Yasemin Başar shared with the participants the added value provided by the Security Report, developed by Hogan Assessment, Baltas Group’s business partner in personality measurements, and adapted by Baltas Group to Turkey, with examples.
