The 5th Strategic HR Management Summit was hosted by HRDergi on April 5, 2015. At the Summit, which hosted many speakers on the strategic functions of HR, Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltas addressed the participants with her speech titled “HR’s Footprints in Sustainability”.
Emphasizing in his speech that we are at a turning point for the world and that our decisions determine the future of the world, Baltas shared that the biggest responsibility of HR, which has a strategic importance in institutions, is to select innovative employees who produce sustainable solutions and to raise awareness in these employees.
Briefly touching on the Green Collar program jointly developed by Baltas Group and TEMA, Zuhal Baltas emphasized that all employees, whether blue or white collar, should reconsider their work processes in order to “leave the world better to the next generation”.
At the end of the speech, among the participants who visited the Baltas Group stand, three lucky participants were awarded Prof. Dr. Zuhal Baltas’s newly released signed book “Ah This Learning” was given as a gift.
