Baltas Group contributed to the 15th academic conference organized by the International Society for the Study of Work & Organizational Values (ISSWOV) with an important academic article on Turkish cultural values. Expert Psychologist Handan Odaman Uşaklıgil and Prof. Dr. The study carried out by Acar Baltas was represented at the conference held between 3-6 July 2016 at Fumec University in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on behalf of ISSWOV, which brings together studies in the field of business and organizational values on an international academic platform. In the study, how value prioritization differs in private and business life, which values are challenging to carry into life, the reasons for the gap between values and behaviors, how employees evaluate their managers for their consistency in this regard, were discussed and concrete suggestions were made to ensure the management of institutions with values. At the end of the presentation, which was met with interest, the similarities between Türkiye and Brazil and possible changes in the perception of value in Turkey were touched upon.
